Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Burbank Bulldog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Lockwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bulldog comes to the cage accompanied by British Bulldog. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bulldog throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bulldog wants to clinch up but Lockwood keeps it at a distance.
Lockwood dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bulldog misses with a few strikes there.
A punch combination from Bulldog misses.
Lockwood fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bulldog on the side of the head.
Lockwood fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
No joy there for Lockwood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bulldog's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lockwood connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bulldog scrambles back to his feet.

Lockwood has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Lockwood rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bulldog moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lockwood goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Lockwood throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bulldog sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Bulldog looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lockwood is fending him off so far but Bulldog persists. Nope, Lockwood circles away and we're back to standing.

Lockwood is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bulldog had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Bulldog chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lockwood can pounce on him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Lockwood counters with a head kick that drops Bulldog to the mat! Bulldog scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Bulldog is rocked!

Bulldog is looking to clinch.
Bulldog tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Lockwood is able to avoid easily.
Bulldog tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lockwood manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lockwood connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lockwood throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bulldog.
A big left from Bulldog misses.
Bulldog misses with a wild combination.
Bulldog shoots in for a takedown but Lockwood shows good takedown defense.
Lockwood scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bulldog in his tracks.
Lockwood lands a really nice looking cross but Bulldog seems unphased.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bulldog walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lockwood slaps away a takedown attempt from Bulldog, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lockwood buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Oh Bulldog is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bulldog gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Bulldog tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Lockwood is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Bulldog buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Bulldog!! Bulldog is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Lockwood throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
