Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danny Crash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wally Macab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wally Macab told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Danny Crash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wally Macab! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Macab shoots in looking for a takedown but Crash manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Macab's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Macab fails to land the takedown. Macab clinches up against the cage. Crash tries to work over Macab's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Macab takes a knee to the side of the body. Macab blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. A head punch on the inside from Macab fails to land. A quick uppercut on the inside from Crash. Crash connects with a nasty looking knee right to Macab's face.
Crash breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Crash lands a jab. Wally Macab seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Macab fails to land the takedown. Danny Crash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wally Macab. Crash clinches up with Macab and pushes him back against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A quick uppercut on the inside from Crash. Crash's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Crash lands with a slapping head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Macab looks to throw the jab but Crash is out of range. Crash connects with a single shot there. Danny Crash is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Macab shoots and misses letting Crash counter with a right hand. Crash turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. An inside leg kick lands from Crash. Macab swings widly with a right hand
and Crash counters with an outside leg kick.
Crash ducks under a wild hook from Macab. Macab scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Macab fails with the takedown. Macab gets in close and instigates a clinch. Crash scores with a shot to the side of Macab's head. Crash has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Macab clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Macab is in bad spot here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Macab is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Macab looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Crash slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Macab just trying to survive but Crash is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Crash is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Macab knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Macab for a finish. Crash doesn't have the hooks in and Macab manages to turn into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Macab tries to free his leg and advance position but Crash is retaining full guard. Macab loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Macab wants to pass the guard but Crash is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crash keeping moving, preventing Macab from controlling successfully. Crash is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Macab throws a big right hand that misses. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Macab clinches. Crash scores with an uppercut up the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Crash dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Crash throws a head kick that misses. Crash lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Crash feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Macab's calf. Macab missing with a left hand there. Crash was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Crash bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Macab throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Macab misses with a takedown attempt - Crash sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Horrible takedown by Macab or perhaps it was just good defense by Crash which made him look bad. Crash closes the distance and lands a one-two. Macab is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Crash fails in his attempt to clinch. Macab throws a lazy uppercut
and Crash counters with a head kick. Crash gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crash lands with a short head shot on the inside. Crash lands with a light punch inside. Crash taking a breather. A right hook to the body lands for Crash.
Crash creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Macab's defenses.
It looks like Wally Macab has been cut. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Crash takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Crash breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Danny Crash is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Crash steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Macab. Macab looks to land a right hand but Crash moved out of range. Macab takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Macab gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Some wild striking there from Macab.
Macab dips to his left and cracks Crash with an uppercut!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice shot lands for Macab. Macab fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crash manages to avoid it. Crash gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Crash with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Macab jumps guard but Crash turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Danny Crash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wally Macab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Macab tries to pull guard but Crash won't allow it.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Crash obliges. Macab is breathing heavily. Crash scores with an uppercut up the middle. Macab is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Crash is keeping busy. Crash breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Macab gets a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Crash. Crash lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crash tries a knee to the head but Macab blocks it.
Crash throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Macabs head. Macab misses with a hook from the clinch. Macab blocks an elbow strike from Crash.
Crash breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Crash uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Macab. Crash showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Macab.
Crash is looking to clinch. Macab might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Crash throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Crash lands with a kick to the temple. Macab shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Crash tries to close the distance and clinch but Macab swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Crash wants to clinch. Macab changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crash tries to avoid it but Macab manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crash to the ground. Crash escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Macab instigates a clinch. Crash lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Macab tries to pull guard but Crash holds him up against the cage and eventually Macab drops back down to his feet.
Still in the clinch, Crash scores with a nice short uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crash's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. That kick from Crash tenderised Macab's leg. Macab is trying to keep his angry face on. Macab tries for a takedown but Crash sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Crash lands a right hook to the body.
Macab has his takedown stuffed and Crash counters with a flying knee. Nice. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Macab throws a hook but Crash blocks it. Macab misses with a body punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Macab clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Crash dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Wally Macab's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Macab takes a swing at Crash's ribcage but misses. Crash moves into range and clinches up with Macab. Macab takes a knee to the side of the body. Macab looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Crash manages to break the clinch.

A battle for position here, against the cage. Crash looking to throw knees to the head but Macab is blocking nicely.
Crash jumps guard.
Crash wants to sweep but no luck. Crash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Macab on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Macab trying to control but Crash is working from the bottom. Crash looking for a sweep. Not yet Crash, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Macab throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Crash works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Macab throwing strikes but missing. Macab loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Macab missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Macab is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Crash is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Crash has escaped and now he's on top! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crash pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Macab is keeping the position for now. Crash got a little sloppy there for a moment and Macab has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Crash has managed to get both his arms back between Macab's legs - danger averted. Wally Macab has got the better of the ground game so far. Crash throwing strikes but missing. Macab controls Crash momentarily but Crash frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crash wants to stand but Macab has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Crash wants to control from the top but Macab keeps moving. Crash avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Macab is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Macab escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crash gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Macab is trying to keep Crash in close.
Crash looking to pass the guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crash tries to stand but Macab is controlling from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Danny Crash. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Crash, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
