Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boyko Borisov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy McKain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borisov comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Thunderstruck. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

McKain moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McKain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Borisov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Borisov can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McKain controls the pace.
Borisov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Guy McKain hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

That has opened up Guy McKain's cut even more.
McKain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Borisov tries to avoid it but McKain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Borisov to the ground. Borisov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Borisov throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on McKain's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Borisov dives in looking to finish as McKain flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Borisov's strikes! Borisov is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! McKain's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but McKain was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
