The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kashka tries to score a power double leg takedown but Malsawmkima sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kashka somewhat.
Malsawmkima closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kashka quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kashka tries to get to full guard but Malsawmkima has control of the leg.
Malsawmkima is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kashka defends it well.

Malsawmkima tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Malsawmkima has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
