Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keith Andaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snow is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Just Like You Imagined. Jon Snow is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keith Andaya!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Snow!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andaya is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Snow.

Snow is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Andaya jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Snow is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Snow and Andaya has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Andaya connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Snow some visible discomfort.
Andaya works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Snow is trying to work for a sweep but Andaya has mounted him!
Snow wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Andaya.

Snow is defending against the submission attempts here by Andaya.
Snow wants to improve his position but Andaya is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Snow moves into full guard.
Andaya stands and throws Snow's legs to the side, diving into side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Andaya goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Snow rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Andaya's guard! Nice work there by Snow!
Snow is fighting to break Andaya's control of his arms but Andaya is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andaya drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Andaya jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Andaya slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Andaya drops back looking for a leg! Snow is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Snow manages to kick Andaya off! Andaya jumps back into Snow's guard.

Andaya tries to free his leg and advance position but Snow is retaining full guard.
Andaya postures up in Snow's guard and throws a big left but Snow blocks it.
Andaya missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Andaya wants to pass the guard but Snow is keeping the position.
Snow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Andaya. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Andaya wants to control from the top but Snow keeps moving.

Andaya lands with a punch from half guard.
Snow is trying to maintain the position but Andaya is very close to passing his half guard.
Andaya passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Snow!

Poor strikes thrown by Andaya there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Snow tries to lock up and control but Andaya gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Andaya moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Andaya counters with a right hand to the body.
Snow closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Andaya is looking to wear down Snow with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Andaya ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Snow moves away.
Andaya throws a series of punches but Snow avoids them all with ease.
Snow throws a nice looking combination but Andaya bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Andaya misses with a double jab.
Snow throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A looping hook to the body misses from Snow. Andaya does a little dance to reset his feet.
Snow swings for the body but Andaya moves out of range.

and Andaya counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Andaya shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Andaya showed some decent athleticism there.
Keith Andaya is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Andaya has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Andaya is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Snow can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Andaya takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
