Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karl Boreling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Kernwald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kevin Kernwald! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Kernwald, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

He's hooked one of Boreling's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Boreling's back! Boreling manages to reverse the position and now he's in Kernwald's guard. Nice work there by Boreling.

Boreling is nestled in close to Kernwald, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Boreling pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kernwald is keeping the position for now. Boreling content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Boreling loads up on a big left hand. Kernwald felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Boreling looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Kernwald can't hide his disappointment, as Boreling celebrates the victory.
