Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hiroyuki Okamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Delphine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Okamoto comes to the cage accompanied by Feel the Drive. Delphine has chosen Let the bodies hit the floor! as his entrance music. The key to victory for Hiroyuki Okamoto has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroyuki Okamoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Danny Delphine!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okamoto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Delphine was well out of range. Poor timing from Okamoto.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Okamoto is wriggling around trying to escape.
Delphine is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Delphine sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Delphine cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Delphine postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Okamoto looks a forlorn figure.

Delphine swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Okamoto is now in Delphine's guard. A big mistake from Delphine there, giving up the dominant position!

Okamoto's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Delphine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Okamoto swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Delphine drops back looking for a leg! Okamoto is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Okamoto manages to kick Delphine off! Delphine jumps back into Okamoto's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Okamoto throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Delphine on the side of the head.
