Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aluicious James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Reeves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Aluicious James has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Aluicious James seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alex Reeves!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reeves misses with a takedown
and James counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Reeves's guard now.
Reeves has his foot on James's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. James works his way back into a safe position though.
James missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
James with a flurry of punches that miss.
James slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Reeves is looking for a sweep.
Sloppy strikes there by James.
James creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Reeves sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
James misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
James in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
James is trying to get an arm triangle but Reeves is defending well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
James cracks Reeves with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Reeves tries to bench press James off him but James keeps the position.
James working the ground and pound but Reeves is defending the strikes.
Reeves is working to avoid the ground and pound but James connects with a decent elbow.
Reeves is rocked!
James scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Reeves is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and James can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aluicious James!
