Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kent Teach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaq Double J (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Teach might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mouth for War. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kent Teach! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Shaq Double J! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Teach looks for a takedown but Double J sprawls well. Teach scores with a kick to the midsection. Teach feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Double J can do anything to dispel that myth. Teach wants to control from the top but Double J keeps moving. Teach tries to free his leg and advance position but Double J is retaining full guard. Double J wants to sweep here but Teach controlling him for the moment. Double J trying to control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Teach looks for a takedown but Double J sprawls well. Teach wants to clinch up but Double J keeps it at a distance. Double J keeps the fight on the outside. Teach changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Double J tries to avoid it but Teach manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Double J to the ground. Double J escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kent Teach. That's going to take a lot out of him. Teach fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Teach throws a half hearted mid kick. Teach closes this distance looking for a takedown but Double J circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Teach has a takedown stuffed. Teach is breathing heavily. Double J avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Teach shoots in looking for a takedown. Double J tries to sprawl out of it but Teach keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Double J manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Teach fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Teach throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Double J's waist but Double J gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Teach off to one side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Teach shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Double J but Double J pushes him off and we're back to square one. Teach tries to close the distance and clinch up but Double J swats him away and circles back towards the center. Double J stuffs the takedown. Double J stuffs the takedown attempt from Teach. Teach gets slowly back to his feet. Teach misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Double J feints and then dives in with a takedown. Teach has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Double J can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Double J looking to pass the guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Teach misses with a takedown attempt and Double J counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Double J lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Double J looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Teach with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Double J trying to pass the guard but Teach defending well. Double J is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Teach trying to control but Double J postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Double J is thwarting Teach's attempts to control the position. Double J landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nice takedown defense from Double J. No joy for Teach on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kent Teach. That's going to take a lot out of him. Double J moves out of range of the body kick. Teach is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Teach tries for a takedown but Double J circles away easily and Double J counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Teach's guard now.

Shaq Double J showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Double J working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Teach looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Double J! Submission of the night perhaps?
