Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Craig Adamson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Craig Adamson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frankie Russo! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adamson tries to clinch there but Russo circles away.
Russo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Adamson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Russo.
Adamson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Adamson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Adamson is looking to clinch but Russo is avoiding it.
Adamson tries to clinch up. Russo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Adamson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Russo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Adamson moves into the clinch successfully.

Adamson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Russo paws at him with a jab and circles away. Russo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

They are putting on a show! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Adamson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Russo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Russo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Russo stops Adamson from standing up. Adamson trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Russo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. Russo scoring with punches to the head and body. Russo with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Russo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Adamson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Russo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Adamson is trying to control the position but Russo postures up. Russo lands a couple of digs. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Russo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Russo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Adamson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Russo distracts Adamson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Frankie Russo will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

It looks like Frankie Russo has been cut. Adamson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Adamson landing knees to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Russo avoiding damage as Adamson throws knees to the body.
