Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ollie Ritch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kent is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I'll be Back. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ollie Ritch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Kent! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kent has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ritch. Ritch keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ritch connects with a high kick.
It looks like Peter Kent has been cut. Kent throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ritch stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kent throws a looping overhand right but Ritch ducks down to avoid it. Kent scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ritch doesn't seem bothered though. Ritch swings widly with a right hand
and Ritch takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Ritch swats away the attempt to clinch by Kent. Kent moves in looking to clinch but Ritch pushes him off. Kent lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kent. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ritch misses with a head kick.

Kent moves into the clinch successfully.
Kent breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ritch throws a right hand that Kent ducks under and follows up with a left that Kent also avoids with ease. Kent takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kent lands with a nice combination. Ritch backs away looking to recover. Ritch lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kent circles away quickly and effectively. A head kick misses from Ritch. A head kick misses from Ritch. Ritch scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kent doesn't seem bothered though. Ritch tries to keep at a distance but Kent has taken the fight into the clinch. Ritch breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kent connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ritch's hands. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ritch takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kent moves into the clinch. Kent's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ritch goes for a high kick. It partially lands. No joy there for Kent, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kent looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Ritch lands with a good body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kent tries to bum rush Ritch with a series of wild strikes but Ritch uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kent takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Ritch doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Kent digs a good hook to Ritch's body.
Peter Kent is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ritch uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kent. A slow jab from Kent misses its intended target. Ritch tries to land a front kick but Kent steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Kent takes a swing at Ritch's ribcage but misses. Nice jab there from Kent. Kent just misses with a punch to the body.
Kent lands a nice hook to Ritch's body. Ritch takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Kent is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Ritch rather than just go for the knockout. Kent throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ritch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kent manages to avoid it. Ritch misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kent tries to close the distance and clinch but Ritch swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nice sprawl there from Ritch as Kent shoots in. Kent blocks a head kick by Ritch.

A looping hook to the body misses from Kent. Ritch does a little dance to reset his feet. Kent throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ritch. Ritch clobbers Kent with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Ritch throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kent fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Kent swings for the body but Ritch moves out of range.

Ritch uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kent. Kent misses with a takedown attempt - Ritch sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ritch lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Ritch is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Sloppy strikes from Kent. Those never looked like landing. Nice straight punches there by Ritch. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ritch.

Ritch's corner calls for a 1-2. Ritch obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ritch gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kent. Kent throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Kent misses with a left hand enabling Ritch to counter with a crisp jab. Kent dodges the punch combination from Ritch.
Ritch ducks under a wild hook from Kent. Ritch is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Kent misses with a wild body shot. Ritch scores with a jab to the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ritch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Ritch will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ritch scores with a jab. Kent acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Kent slips a jab and a cross from Ritch.
Peter Kent seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ritch swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Nice uppercut lands for Kent. That snapped Ritch's head back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kent misses with a two punch combination.

Oh Ritch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kent cracks Ritch with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Ritch throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. And that's the end of the fight! Peter Kent comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kent has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
