Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Schwanz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Meatstock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schwanz's entrance music is Tool - Lipan Conjuring. A fine choice. Hugh Meatstock has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hans Schwanz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwanz connects with a single shot there.
Meatstock's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Meatstock duly obliges.
Schwanz lands a front kick.
Schwanz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Meatstock.
Meatstock throws a head kick but Schwanz moves out of range.
Schwanz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Schwanz drops Meatstock with a right and a left! Schwanz comes rushing in but Meatstock regains his composure and manages to keep Schwanz in guard.

Meatstock tries to bum rush Schwanz with a series of wild strikes but Schwanz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Meatstock throws out a loose jab but Schwanz uses good head movement to avoid it.

A jab-cross combination lands for Schwanz and sends Meatstock crashing to the mat! Schwanz follows him down to the mat - Meatstock regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Schwanz in particular looking to stall.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Schwanz wants to free his trapped foot but Meatstock is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Schwanz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Hans Schwanz just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Schwanz wants to slow Meatstock down by chopping away at his legs.

Meatstock might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Good leg kick by Schwanz there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Meatstock clobbers Schwanz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
