Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Denny Prokopos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicolas De Ertu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prokopos comes to the cage accompanied by Smoke Serpent - Jiu Jitsu. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Ertu shoots in and gets a takedown into Prokopos's guard.
Prokopos wants to hit a switch here but De Ertu passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Prokopos there!
De Ertu prevents Prokopos from getting the reversal.
De Ertu looking to control but Prokopos is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Prokopos tries to hold on but De Ertu postures up.
Prokopos can't escape the position.
De Ertu is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Prokopos can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Prokopos manages to regain half guard. Good work.
De Ertu is keen to just control but Prokopos is a slippery customer.

De Ertu thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
De Ertu throwing shots but Prokopos is blocking nicely.
De Ertu is pressing down on Prokopos's thigh, looking to free his foot. Prokopos is holding on for now.

De Ertu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Prokopos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Prokopos is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of De Ertu's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take De Ertu's back!

De Ertu trying to control the hands but Prokopos won't let him.
Prokopos is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. De Ertu has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Prokopos has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! De Ertu taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Prokopos doesn't care though - he's delighted!
