Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Summers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mikio Okita! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Okita bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Summers closes the distance and pushes Okita back into the cage. Okita looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Summers misses with the head strike.

Okita wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Summers has him pressed against the cage. Summers misses with some punches.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Summers. Okita prevents a body shot from Summers. Summers prevents Okita from breaking the clinch. Okita has had enough of the clinch but Summers keeps him there for the moment. Okita has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Summers avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Okita is trying to break free. Okita breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Summers wants to clinch up but Okita keeps it at a distance.

Okita jabbing away but nothing is landing. Summers staying out of range there. Okita throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Summers sees it coming and avoids it easily. Okita throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Summers counters with a nice uppercut. Summers throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Okita tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Summers is in Okita's guard. Okita is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Summers stops Okita from standing up. Okita utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Summers wants to control from the top but Okita keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dylan Summers. Summers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A jab lands there for Okita. Summers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Okita as he jumps to the side. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice shot by Summers. Summers tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. No luck for Summers with that takedown attempt. Summers stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Summers wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Summers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Okita sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Summers somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dylan Summers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Okita shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Summers sprawls well. Summers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Okita gets slowly back to his feet. Summers is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Okita fails with a takedown attempt. Nice defenses there by Summers. Summers looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Summers not landing any meaningful shots this time. Summers looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Okita desperately trying to maintain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Summers looks to score with a jab to the body but Okita is just out of range. Summers throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Dylan Summers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight stays on the outside here - Summers looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Okita keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Summers moves out of range as Okita strikes. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Okita is defended easily by Summers. Okita stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Okita wants it to stay on the feet. Summers drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Summers forces Okita back against the cage and clinches. Summers trying to stall but Okita improves his position.

Summers tries to work over Okita's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Okita has had enough of the clinch but Summers keeps him there for the moment. Okita goes for a takedown attempt but Summers pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Okita misses the jab. Okita throws a big shot that misses. Summers fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Okita avoids it really well and circles away. Okita looks to score with a jab to the body but Summers is just out of range. Okita takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Okita thuds a left hand into Summers's body. Okita avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Okita tries to break free but Summers pushes him back against the cage. Summers displaying some good clinch control by pressing Okita up against the cage. A battle for position here, against the cage. Okita tries to score a body lock takedown but Summers shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Summers is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Okita is defending well. Summers stalling the fight.

Summers scores with a takedown into Okita's guard. Summers is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Okita keeping moving, preventing Summers from controlling successfully. Summers controls from within his opponent's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Okita uses the cage to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Okita scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Summers stops Okita from passing to mount. Okita trying to control the position but Summers is working away. Okita advances to mount. Summers regains half guard. Okita is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Summers doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Okita. Okita stalling away here and it's allowed Summers to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Okita stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Summers swivels though and keeps the full guard. Okita trying to control but Summers is working from the bottom. Summers throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Mikio Okita has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Okita stopping the sweep attempt from Summers.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Okita passes Summers's left leg - he's now in half guard. Okita prevents Summers from improving his position. Okita is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Summers defends it well. Okita is looking to take a break and control but Summers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Okita trying to pass the guard but Summers defending well. Summers wants to get back to full guard but Okita has passed into side control. Dylan Summers is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Summers holding on. Okita tries to advance to mount but can't. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Okita throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Mikio Okita comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Summers has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
