Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clydee Forte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Ivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Forte comes to the cage accompanied by Psycho Holiday. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Clydee Forte! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phil Ivey! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Forte shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ivey's guard. Forte sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ivey's guard. Forte wants to work for an arm triangle but Ivey is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Forte wants to free his trapped foot but Ivey is holding on for dear life with his legs. Ivey wants to improve his position but Forte is controlling well.
Forte wants to pass to mount but Ivey is defending the position. Ivey is doing well to control the position and prevent Forte from advancing to side control. Forte wants to work for an arm triangle but Ivey is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Forte uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ivey. Phil Ivey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Forte avoids the body shot from Ivey.
Forte fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ivey scores with a sloppy right hand. Forte should have avoided that one. Ivey lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ivey.
It looks like Clydee Forte has been cut. Forte closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ivey circles away. Ivey throws a series of punches but Forte moves out of range. Forte misses with a series of wild punches.
Forte tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ivey swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clydee Forte. That's going to take a lot out of him. Forte takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ivey keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ivey looks to land a combination but Forte avoids it well. Ivey misses with the combination.
A punch combination from Ivey misses. Ivey scores with a jab to the jaw. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Forte tries to clinch up but Ivey circles away and keeps his distance. Forte shoots in but no luck this time. Forte on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Forte is breathing heavily. Ivey jabs at Forte's body. Ivey is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Ivey drops Forte with a big left hand! Forte is injured, injured bad! Ivey jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
