The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martins shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McCall defends it nicely.
McCall leaves Martins with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Martins shoots and misses
and McCall counters with a two punch combo.
Liam McCall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabiano Martins.
Martins with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McCall to score with a decent uppercut.

Fabiano Martins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCall scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Martins will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
McCall scores with the left hand. Martins knows he should have avoided that one.

Martins closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

McCall digs a right hand into Martins's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Martins's gas tank.

McCall gets through Martins's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

McCall throws a big uppercut that drops Martins! More strikes from McCall and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Martins lies dazed against the cage as McCall celebrates with his cornermen!
