Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hanso Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paddy Cheechoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Cheechoo or perhaps it was just good defense by Dos Santos which made him look bad.
Dos Santos throws a sloppy head kick and Cheechoo moves out of range easily.
Cheechoo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dos Santos swivels and escapes.
Dos Santos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cheechoo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dos Santos.

Cheechoo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dos Santos has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cheechoo but great work by Dos Santos.

Cheechoo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Cheechoo is keen to just control but Dos Santos is a slippery customer.

Cheechoo has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dos Santos uses from the top position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dos Santos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cheechoo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dos Santos has managed to get both his arms back between Cheechoo's legs - danger averted.
Cheechoo pushes a forearm under Dos Santos's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Dos Santos is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
