Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson with a nice cross.

Jackson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Snopek was covering up waiting for the punch and Jackson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Jackson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Snopek accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jackson can do anything to dispel that myth.
