Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joel Lagerboy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Trikkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joel Lagerboy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dick Trikkle! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trikkle lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Lagerboy misses with a takedown attempt - Trikkle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Trikkle scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Lagerboy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Lagerboy performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Lagerboy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Trikkle is just riding it out for now. Lagerboy eventually gives up the hold. Trikkle tries to kick Lagerboy off but Lagerboy keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lagerboy is working for a kimura but Trikkle is defending it quite comfortably.
Lagerboy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Trikkle sees it coming and defends easily. Well, if Lagerboy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lagerboy seems to be looking for submissions.
Lagerboy is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trikkle wants to stand back up but Lagerboy manages to pass into side control.
Lagerboy wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Trikkle, who protects the arm well. Lagerboy trying to control the position but Trikkle is working away. Lagerboy swings around for an armbar but Trikkle sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lagerboy's guard. Trikkle tries to stand but Lagerboy is controlling from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lagerboy is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lagerboy prevents Trikkle from getting back to his feet. Lagerboy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Lagerboy won't allow Trikkle to get back to his feet. Trikkle keeping full guard, as Lagerboy tries to pass. Trikkle is looking to stand up but Lagerboy isn't so interested in that idea. Lagerboy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trikkle keeping moving, preventing Lagerboy from controlling successfully. Lagerboy prevents Trikkle from getting back to his feet. Lagerboy has gone for a leg lock! Trikkle slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lagerboy's guard. Trikkle must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Trikkle is looking to stand up but Lagerboy won't let him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Joel Lagerboy will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Trikkle lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Trikkle uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Trikkle is looking to clinch but Lagerboy is avoiding it.
Lagerboy walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Lagerboy is rocked! Trikkle throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Lagerboy crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dick Trikkle!
