The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niles is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Niles tries to clinch up but Marcos circles away and keeps his distance.

Niles shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Marcos manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Niles stops Marcos from standing up.

Niles has gone for a leg lock! Marcos slips out almost immediately though and dives into Niles's guard.

Niles looking for a guillotine here but Marcos defends easily.

Marcos is looking to work some ground and pound but Niles has wrist control.

Marcos would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Niles is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Marcos is aware though and is defending well.

Niles working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Marcos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Niles is tightening it up a little... Marcos has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Marcos reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Marcos taps out! Nice BJJ there by Niles!
