Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reece Edward Duenas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Coleman Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duenas comes to the cage accompanied by California Gurls. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Reece Edward Duenas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Coleman Jr!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duenas ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Horrible takedown by Coleman Jr or perhaps it was just good defense by Duenas which made him look bad.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Duenas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Coleman Jr avoids the body shot from Duenas.
Reece Edward Duenas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Duenas gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Coleman Jr ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Coleman Jr no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Coleman Jr might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Duenas kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Duenas changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Coleman Jr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Duenas's waist but Duenas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coleman Jr off to one side.
Coleman Jr shoots in looking for a takedown but Duenas manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Coleman Jr's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Reece Edward Duenas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Coleman Jr.

Coleman Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Duenas sprawls well. Duenas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Coleman Jr gets slowly back to his feet.

Duenas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coleman Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Coleman Jr stands up over Duenas, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Duenas has momentary wrist control but Coleman Jr slips an elbow through the middle.
Coleman Jr is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Duenas throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Coleman Jr escapes and throws Duenas's legs to the side, diving into side control!

I think Coleman Jr has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
