The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pope looks to score with a jab to the body but Cecere is just out of range.
Pope tries to clinch but Cecere is having none of it.
Pope fails with the takedown.
Pope misses with a wild combination.
Cecere feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Pope's calf.
Cecere stuffs the takedown attempt from Pope. Pope gets slowly back to his feet.
Cecere throws a nice outside leg kick.
Cecere listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Cecere throws a head kick but Pope moves out of range.
Cecere works the jab nicely.
It looks like Dave Pope has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pope is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Cecere connects with an inside leg kick.

Cecere connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Pope covering up! Cecere comes in with a big uppercut and Pope goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
