Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Chinatown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Aidan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aidan has chosen Cant touch this as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Charlie Chinatown! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matt Aidan! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chinatown feints and then cracks Aidan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Aidan down. Aidan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Chinatown swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Chinatown shoots in for a double leg but Aidan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Chinatown fails to land the takedown. Some bone on bone action there as Aidan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Chinatown swings for the body but Aidan moves out of range.
A leg kick checked by Aidan. Chinatown throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Aidan's waist but Aidan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chinatown off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Chinatown. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aidan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chinatown misses with a wild combination.
Chinatown shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chinatown gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Aidan scores with a nice body kick.
Aidan dodges the punch combination from Chinatown.
Aidan staying out of range there. Aidan closes the distance and clinches. Aidan manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chinatown throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Aidan. Aidan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Chinatown tries to clinch but Aidan moves away and Aidan counters with a three punch combo that has Chinatown backing up. Chinatown nods at Aidan to acknowledge the strikes. Chinatown throws a leg kick and Aidan counters with a two punch combo. Chinatown misses with a double jab.
Aidan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Chinatown blocks a head kick by Aidan.
Chinatown looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Aidan trying to control but Chinatown postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aidan tries to roll over but Chinatown keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Chinatown wants to stand but Aidan has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Chinatown dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Chinatown swings away with a body shot that misses
and Aidan counters with a series of strikes. Chinatown will be more careful next time no doubt. Aidan lands a body shot.
Aidan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Aidan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Chinatown counters with a thumping low kick. Chinatown tries to bum rush Aidan with a series of wild strikes but Aidan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A low kick from Chinatown misses and Aidan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Chinatown misses with a shot to the body and Aidan counters with a one-two to the body. Chinatown throws an overhand right that lands on Aidan's shoulder, as Aidan tries to avoid the shot. Chinatown swings away with a body shot that misses
and Aidan counters with a leg kick. Aidan is breathing heavily. Chinatown closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Aidan to the mat! Aidan manages to get full guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Aidan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chinatown decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Aidan, up you get!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Chinatown throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Aidan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Chinatown misses with a leg kick and Aidan makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Chinatown shoots in for a takedown but Aidan shows good takedown defense. Chinatown is looking to wear down Aidan with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Chinatown shoots in but no luck this time. Chinatown has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Aidan clinches up against the ropes. Chinatown takes an elbow to the forehead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chinatown wants to break free but Aidan has control.
Chinatown is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Chinatown with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Chinatown wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Aidan wants to break the clinch but can't.
Chinatown wants to get back to striking at distance but Aidan won't allow it.

Chinatown keeps control of Aidan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Chinatown prevents Aidan from breaking the clinch. Chinatown lands a nice shot to the body. Aidan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Chinatown has him pressed against the ropes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Charlie Chinatown will probably get the nod. That's time! Chinatown's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Aidan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chinatown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A shot to the body from Chinatown misses and Aidan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Chinatown moves in looking to clinch but Aidan pushes him off. Aidan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Aidan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chinatown gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Chinatown is looking to break free of the clinch but Aidan has double underhooks. Chinatown wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Chinatown wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Chinatown just leaning against Aidan, taking a breather. Chinatown has had enough of the clinch but Aidan keeps him there for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chinatown breaks from the clinch.
Charlie Chinatown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aidan checks a low kick from Chinatown. Chinatown fails with the takedown. Chinatown tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Chinatown misses with the combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Chinatown tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Aidan paws at him with a jab and circles away. Chinatown doesn't manage to clinch there - Aidan circles away.
Aidan looks to clinch and Chinatown counters by moving into the clinch. Chinatown wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Aidan can't break the clinch.
Chinatown breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. An inside leg kick from Chinatown misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Chinatown lands a lovely overhand right. Aidan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chinatown.
Chinatown scores with a jab to the body. Chinatown is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Aidan. A low kick from Chinatown is predictable there and Aidan counters with a leg kick. Aidan ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Aidan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Aidan throws a series of strikes that have Chinatown backpedaling.
Matt Aidan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chinatown clinches but Aidan breaks the clinch and Aidan counters with a two punch combo.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Charlie Chinatown. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chinatown, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
