Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evanildo Bechara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Sakamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakamoto has chosen imdabes by GMCFOSHO as his entrance music. Paul Sakamoto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Evanildo Bechara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Sakamoto! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sakamoto misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A clash of legs there as Sakamoto blocks the low kick. Bechara misses with a body kick. Bechara attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Bechara instigates a clinch. Bechara is trying to push Sakamoto away but Sakamoto has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bechara breaks from the clinch.
Sakamoto throws out a loose jab but Bechara uses good head movement to avoid it. A swing and a miss from Sakamoto. Bechara takes a shot right to the bread basket. Sakamoto wants to clinch and Bechara counters with a nice kick to the body. Bechara showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sakamoto.
A bone on bone clash there as Sakamoto blocks the leg kick.
Sakamoto closes the distance and pushes Bechara back into the cage. Sakamoto is trying to break the clinch but Bechara is controlling him. Bechara lands with a left to the head. Sakamoto managing to block the knees to the body from Bechara.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sakamoto tries to circle away but Bechara has him pinned against the cage. Sakamoto stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Bechara tries to throw a body punch but Sakamoto avoids it by throwing Bechara back against the cage. Bechara lands a hook to the side of the head. Sakamoto blocks a body shot from Bechara. Bechara's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sakamoto takes a swing at Bechara's ribcage but misses. Bechara getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Bechara throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sakamoto swings widly with a right hand
and Bechara counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sakamoto's knee momentarily. Sakamoto doesn't manage to clinch there - Bechara circles away.
Bechara closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Bechara tries a low kick but Sakamoto avoids it. Sakamoto thows a body shot but no joy. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sakamoto misses with an uppercut. The fight stays on the outside here - Sakamoto looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bechara throws a head kick but Sakamoto moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bechara swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Sakamoto to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Evanildo Bechara has been cut. Sakamoto scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Sloppy strikes from Sakamoto. Those never looked like landing. Bechara misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bechara shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Bechara misses the jab. Sakamoto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sakamoto tries to clinch up but Bechara circles away and keeps his distance. Sakamoto looks to score with a jab to the body but Bechara is just out of range. Bechara closes the distance and pushes Sakamoto back into the cage. Bechara pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Paul Sakamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sakamoto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bechara moves away. Bechara lands a head kick!
Sakamoto misses with a double jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sakamoto closes the distance and pushes Bechara back into the cage. Bechara wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Sakamoto misses with a punch on the inside.
A head punch on the inside from Sakamoto fails to land. Sakamoto takes a shot to the head. Bechara escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bechara tries to clinch there but Sakamoto circles away.
Sakamoto misses with an uppercut
and Bechara counters with an inside leg kick. Bechara throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Paul Sakamoto has been cut. Bechara swings away with a leg kick that misses. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sakamoto misses with a straight left. Bechara slips a jab and a cross from Sakamoto.
Sakamoto misses with a straight right. Bechara drops Sakamoto with a beautiful combination! Sakamoto stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bechara is looking for the KO!
Sakamoto is rocked! Look low, kick high! Bechara uses the oldest trick in the book to send Sakamoto tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Bechara is absolutely delighted - when Sakamoto wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Evanildo Bechara! Evanildo Bechara looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Ooops... I did it again!'.
