Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez has chosen Megadeth-Trust as his entrance music. Alex Ramirez struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jason Moon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alex Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon stuffs the takedown attempt from Ramirez. Ramirez gets slowly back to his feet.
Ramirez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Moon as he jumps to the side.
Ramirez dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Moon. That did some damage!
Moon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ramirez.

Ramirez feints and as Moon raises his hands in defense, Ramirez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Ramirez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Moon keeping moving, preventing Ramirez from controlling successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Alex Ramirez.
Ramirez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Moon sprawls well. Moon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ramirez gets slowly back to his feet.
Jason Moon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Ramirez.
No luck for Ramirez with that takedown attempt.

Moon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ramirez did well to prevent Moon getting side control.

Moon is trying for a kimura here. Ramirez looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Moon wins by kimura!
