Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rozafa Arben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arben's entrance music is P.O.D. - The Messenjah. A fine choice. Vera has chosen Black Eyed Peas - Bebot as his entrance music. Rozafa Arben is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Arben finds it's target.
Vera slips under a jab from Arben.
Vera shoots in for a takedown but Arben shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vera walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Arben checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Good shot there by Arben.
A punch combination from Arben misses.
Michael Vera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vera tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vera gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Arben.
Vera walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vera fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Arben checks it well.
Arben ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Arben takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Arben waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Vera.
Vera pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Arben throws a big shot that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
That kick from Vera tenderised Arben's leg. Arben is trying to keep his angry face on.
Arben slaps away a takedown attempt from Vera, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Arben misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Vera throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Vera throws a push kick but Arben slaps the foot to one side.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Vera.
Arben misses with a looping right.
Nice defenses there by Vera.
Vera will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Vera takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Vera takes a jab right on the kisser.
Vera scores with a head kick. Arben tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Rozafa Arben has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vera misses with a leg kick
and Arben counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Vera slips a jab from Arben.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vera connects with a crisp jab.
Arben avoids the head kick by Vera.
Arben ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vera moves away.
Arben is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Vera lands a big head kick that sends Arben tumbling to the mat! Vera takes a step backwards and waves Arben back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Arben is rocked!
Vera turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Oh Arben is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Arben is breathing heavily.
Vera fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Arben out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Michael Vera!
Michael Vera decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
