The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva avoids the head kick by Kiler.
Kiler misses with a two punch combination.
Silva has Kiler up against the cage in a clinch.
Silva tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kiler avoids it.
Silva is trying to break free.
Kiler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kiler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kiler to the mat! Kiler manages to get full guard.

Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Silva prevents Kiler from getting back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rocco Silva.
Silva moves into range and clinches up with Kiler.
Silva has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kiler uses from the top position.
