Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dani Ben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Throttle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Throttle closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ben's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Ben is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Throttle trying to control but Ben is working from the bottom.
Throttle advances position into side control!
Throttle throws an elbow but Ben slips to the side and avoids it well.

Throttle decides to stand back up. Throttle steps back and let's Ben get back to his feet.
Ben is looking to clinch.
Throttle lands with an overhand left.
Throttle thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ben if he has to take too many more of those.
Ben fails with an attempt to clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ben tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Throttle counters with a lovely shot to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ben just leaning against Throttle, taking a breather.
Throttle is pushing Ben up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Ben's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A lazy left from Throttle finds it's target.
Throttle looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Ben smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

and Throttle counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Throttle.

Throttle avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ben scores with a one two! Throttle had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Dick Throttle has been cut.
Throttle tries for a takedown but Ben sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dani Ben has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dick Throttle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ben throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Throttle's waist but Throttle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ben off to one side.
Ben tries to clinch up but Throttle circles away and keeps his distance.
Ben misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ben moves to clinch but Throttle breaks away
and Throttle counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Throttle shoots in but Ben avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Ben moves into the clinch successfully.
Throttle has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ben avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Ben keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Throttle's efforts to push away.
Nice body punch from Throttle.

Throttle gets control of Ben's arms and successfully pulls guard. Throttle will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Throttle is wriggling around but Ben manages to pass to half guard.
Ben is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Ben is working for an americana but Throttle has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Ben was thinking about the submission.
Ben wants to control from the top but Throttle keeps moving.
Ben is breathing heavily.
Ben slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Throttle.
Throttle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ben is working away from the top position though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ben passes into side control, despite Throttle's attempt to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Throttle moves out of range of the strikes.
Throttle avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ben pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Throttle tries to clinch but Ben is having none of it.

Throttle forces Ben back against the cage and clinches.
Throttle tries to pull guard but Ben holds him up against the cage and eventually Throttle drops back down to his feet.

Throttle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ben dives in and grabs Throttle's left leg, looking for a takedown. Throttle pushes down on Ben's head and hops out.
Throttle shoots in for a takedown but Ben shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Dani Ben has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dick Throttle.

Ben feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ben postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Throttle can't keep his opponent in guard - Ben advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Ben not doing much here.
Ben seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Throttle does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ben tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Throttle.
Ben blocks the strikes from Throttle.

Throttle tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Throttle is trying to maintain the position but Ben is very close to passing his half guard.

Ben is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Throttle has managed to free his arm - good work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Throttle wants to control but Ben is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Ben really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ben in particular looking to stall.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Throttle shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ben is trying to defend but Throttle finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Throttle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ben keeps working.
Ben wants to control the action here but instead Throttle manages to pass to full mount!

Throttle goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Ben is on top in guard.

Throttle wants to sweep but no luck.

Throttle working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ben doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ben manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Throttle striking off his back but it's not causing Ben any problems.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dani Ben will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Throttle shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ben sprawls well. Ben wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Throttle gets slowly back to his feet.

Ben breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Throttle misses the shot to the body.
Ben fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Throttle has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Ben wants to take a breather but Throttle is having none of it.

Ben thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Throttle's head.

Ben moves out of range as Throttle throws a body kick.
Throttle is looking to clinch but Ben is avoiding it.
Ben wants to clinch up but Throttle keeps it at a distance.
Throttle misses with a takedown attempt - Ben sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ben doesn't manage to clinch there - Throttle circles away.
Throttle swats away the attempt to clinch by Ben.

Dani Ben is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Ben counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Throttle controls Ben momentarily but Ben frees himself.

Ben gets to his feet - Throttle follows without any prompting.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
