Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Myles Jury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yasser Arafat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jury might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Thousand Foot Krutch - Light Up the Sky. Yasser Arafat is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Myles Jury! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yasser Arafat! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arafat connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jury. Jury circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Jury shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Jury shoots in looking for a takedown. Arafat tries to sprawl out of it but Jury keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Arafat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jury has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jury there as he acknowledges the shot. Arafat lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Jury shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Arafat but Arafat pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Myles Jury. That's going to take a lot out of him. Arafat leaves Jury with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jury takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jury fails with the takedown. Arafat scores with the left hand. Jury knows he should have avoided that one. Jury will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arafat thows a left - swing and a miss! Arafat cracks Jury with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Arafat moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Jury shoots in but no luck this time. Jury moves away from the strike by Arafat. Jury closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Jury tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Arafat swivels and escapes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jury keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Arafat. Jury defending well as Arafat loads up on a big left hand. Jury fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jury shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Arafat but Arafat pushes him off and we're back to square one. Arafat connects with the punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jury closes the distance and clinches up with Arafat, looking for a takedown. Jury pushes Arafat against the cage but Arafat circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Arafat lands a really nice looking cross but Jury seems unphased.
A big right from Arafat misses. Donk. Arafat catches Jury right on the button with a cross. Arafat throws the left hand but Jury avoids the punch easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Arafat, as that shot connected.
Nice uppercut lands for Arafat. That snapped Jury's head back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yasser Arafat dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jury. Nice takedown defense from Arafat. No joy for Jury on that attempt. Arafat stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Arafat wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Myles Jury. That's going to take a lot out of him. A jab from Arafat finds it's way through Jury's defenses. Jury has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jury there as he acknowledges the shot. Myles Jury is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Arafat throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arafat digs a good body shot into Jury's ribs. Jury gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Arafat counters with a stiff right hand. Arafat leaves Jury with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Arafat moves into range and connects with a jab. Yasser Arafat seems to be getting the better of the standup. Arafat lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Yasser Arafat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Arafat as he connects with a hook. Arafat throws a lazy right hand but Jury sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Jury looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jury tries to move into range but Arafat moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Jury shoots in for a double leg but Arafat sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Arafat uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jury. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Jury is rocked! Arafat bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jury's head. Oh Jury is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jury fails to land the takedown. Arafat leaves Jury with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Arafat walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Jury drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Arafat swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Jury's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yasser Arafat!
