The crowd seem to be enjoying Drake's choice of entrance music: Blitzkrieg Bop. John Ketchup has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nick Drake!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ketchup misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ketchup thows a body shot but no joy.

Ketchup trying to keep a closed guard but Drake is proving a slippery customer.
Ketchup is really struggling to control Drake but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Drake got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ketchup has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Drake has managed to get both his arms back between Ketchup's legs - danger averted.

John Ketchup has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Drake enables Ketchup to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Drake manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Ketchup feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ketchup throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Drake was covering up waiting for the punch and Ketchup finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Ketchup closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Drake to the mat! Drake manages to get full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Drake gets tackled into the cage by Ketchup. Ketchup maintains the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

John Ketchup is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Ketchup has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Drake clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

John Ketchup showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Ketchup has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
