Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damian Roshan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koby Stott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roshan comes to the cage accompanied by The Cranberries-Zombie. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Koby Stott enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roshan lands a body shot.
Roshan slips under a jab from Stott.
Stott shoots and misses
and Roshan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Roshan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stott's guard.

Roshan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stott has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Roshan has managed to get both his arms back between Stott's legs - danger averted.

Roshan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Roshan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Roshan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Stott doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Roshan counters with a nice uppercut.
Damian Roshan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koby Stott.
Roshan leaves Stott with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Stott shoots for a double leg takedown but Roshan sprawls well. He's pushed Stott's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Koby Stott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Stott takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Roshan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

and Roshan counters with a single leg into guard. Stott didn't expect that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Roshan drops an elbow to the side of Stott's head.
Roshan is trying to control. Stott wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Roshan has hold of Stott's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Stott tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Roshan cranks the arm and Stott screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Stott, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
