Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gaige Raymond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zac Dane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zac Dane has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Gaige Raymond's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gaige Raymond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Zac Dane!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dane shoots for a double leg takedown but Raymond sprawls well. He's pushed Dane's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Raymond will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Raymond shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Raymond has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dane is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Raymond loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Dane scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Raymond land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Raymond stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gaige Raymond!
