The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Drennan drops Baddabing with a beautiful combination! Baddabing stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Drennan is looking for the KO!

It looks like Manny Baddabing has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Drennan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Baddabing moves away.
Baddabing chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Drennan can pounce on him.

Baddabing looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Drennan wants to stand and escape but Baddabing is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baddabing trying to control the position from guard on top but Drennan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Baddabing is fighting to break Drennan's control of his arms but Drennan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Baddabing throws an elbow that misses. Drennan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Baddabing's guard. Nice move by Drennan!
Baddabing is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Drennan lands with a hook. Baddabing tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Drennan throws a lazy right hand but Baddabing sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Drennan throws a jab but it's blocked by Baddabing.
Drennan cracks Baddabing with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
An inside leg kick lands from Drennan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fight stays on the outside here - Baddabing looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Baddabing instigates a clinch.
Drennan misses with some punches.
Drennan is pressed up against the cage. Baddabing has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Drennan down to the mat. Drennan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Drennan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Baddabing avoids the body shot from Drennan.

Drennan fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Baddabing to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Baddabing looks to clinch but Drennan throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Baddabing taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
