Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Bakker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Van Deinsen!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bakker instigates a clinch.

Bakker has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Van Deinsen clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Bakker controls the position.
Bakker has the hooks in. Van Deinsen is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
I would not like to be Van Deinsen right now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bakker lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Van Deinsen can't escape the position.
Bakker is landing with strikes. Van Deinsen can't take much more of this.
Van Deinsen trying to control but not successfully.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Van Deinsen wants to escape the position.
Bakker scores with punches to the body.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bakker punches Van Deinsen on the ear.
Bakker is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Van Deinsen rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Van Deinsen trying to control but Bakker postures up.
Bakker prevents Van Deinsen from improving his position.
Van Deinsen wants to control the action here but instead Bakker manages to pass to full mount!
Van Deinsen tries to hold on but Bakker postures up.
Van Deinsen tries to reverse the position but Bakker maintains control.
Bakker looking to control and managing it successfully.
Van Deinsen is looking to improve his position but Bakker isn't that keen on the idea.
Van Deinsen is bucking up trying to escape but Bakker cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Bakker lands a heavy elbow.


Van Deinsen is rocked!

Bakker landing strikes from the mount.
Van Deinsen is still in real trouble! Can Bakker finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bakker tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Bakker postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Van Deinsen bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Bakker and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Bakker!
Bob Bakker bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
