Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tulsa McLean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McLean paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Diaz drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
McLean gets back to half guard.

Diaz is pushing down on McLean's leg trying to pass to half guard. McLean is fighting to maintain full guard but Diaz has managed to sneak the leg through.
McLean wants to get back to full guard.
McLean might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Diaz tries to stand but can't do so whilst McLean controls his leg.

Diaz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Diaz is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McLean doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Diaz.

McLean is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Diaz pulls his head out easily.

Diaz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as McLean is looking to escape.

Diaz has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of McLean's face.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

McLean manages to reverse the position and now he's in Diaz's guard. Nice work there by McLean.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz is pulling down on McLean's head to control his posture.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Diaz is on top in guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Diaz's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

That's time! McLean's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Diaz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Diaz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

McLean has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Diaz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McLean lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Diaz has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Diaz and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

McLean is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

McLean looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Diaz has picked McLean up and slammed him! McLean can't keep hold of the triangle and Diaz manages to pass to side control!

Diaz decides to stand up, so the ref orders McLean to his feet.

This has been an exciting period of action!

McLean throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Diaz counters with a nice double leg into side control. McLean won't be happy with that.

Diaz decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
