Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ron Jansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uran Tine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uran Tine is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ron Jansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Uran Tine!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jansen feints a jab promting Tine to slip. Jansen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tine slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Tine looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jansen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tine chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jansen can pounce on him.
Tine has a takedown stuffed.
Ron Jansen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jansen throws a series of punches but Tine moves out of range.

Tine is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jansen is defending well.

Jansen lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tine's sensitive parts.

Tine is still on wobbly legs! Can Jansen finish him?
Nice takedown defense from Tine. No joy for Jansen on that attempt.
Tine avoids the head kick by Jansen.
Jansen misses with a series of wild punches.
Tine slips a jab and a cross from Jansen.

Jansen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Jansen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jansen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jansen dips to his left and cracks Tine with an uppercut!
Jansen is working the combinations to good effect here.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tine.
A combination from Jansen does no damage.
Jansen tries to close the distance and clinch but Tine swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jansen cracks a nice hook into Tine's ribs.

Tine is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jansen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Tine wants to stand and escape but Jansen is having none of it.
Jansen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tine is proving hard to escape from.

Tine is working an open guard so Jansen takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jansen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Jansen seems content to control.
Tine seems to have recovered his senses.
Tine wants to stand back up but Jansen manages to pass into side control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Tine counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jansen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Tine enables Jansen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tine manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Tine is breathing heavily.
Tine wants to stand and escape but Jansen is having none of it.

Jansen decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Jansen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tine circles away quickly and effectively.

Jansen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jansen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Jansen moves into the clinch.

Jansen successfully pulls guard.
Jansen looking for a sweep. Not yet Jansen, not yet.
Jansen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tine can do to turn this around?
Tine working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Jansen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jansen tries to get out of the position.
Tine is fighting to break Jansen's control of his arms but Jansen is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Jansen wants to stand and escape but Tine is having none of it.

Jansen pulls Tine in close to prevent any damage.

Tine shoots for a takedown but Jansen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jansen, as that shot connected.
Jansen works over Tine's head and body with a nice combination.

Jansen rushes Tine and presses him up against the cage.

Jansen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tine is trying desperately to land a takedown but Jansen is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Tine.
Tine misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ron Jansen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uran Tine.
Jansen shoots in and drives through. Tine sprawls well.

Jansen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tine.
