Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yancy Norse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Ribera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yancy Norse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Manny Ribera! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Norse misses with a right hand and Ribera counters with a nice double leg into side control. Norse won't be happy with that. Norse is being controlled here. Norse is trying to improve his position. Ribera working away. Ribera tries to move into full mount but can't pass Norse's legs. Norse tries to improve position but can't. Norse regains half guard, as Ribera was trying to land strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Norse keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ribera wants to take a breather but Norse is having none of it. Norse blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ribera. Ribera throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ribera looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Ribera throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Ribera trying to pass the guard but Norse defending well. Ribera is looking for a kimura but Norse is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ribera to get the leverage. Ribera wants to free his trapped foot but Norse is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ribera is just content to waste time from the top position. Norse takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Ribera is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Ribera is in close to Norse's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ribera stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Norse swivels though and keeps the full guard. Norse knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ribera on the ground. Ribera in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Norse is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ribera tries to roll over but Norse keeps him under control. Ribera actively working from the bottom here. Ribera is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ribera is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Norse's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Norse's back! A lull in the action here.
Ribera looking to break Norse's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Norse remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ribera will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Ribera has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Norse has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Ribera keeps control of the position as Norse tries to break free.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ribera working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Ribera seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Norse's chin but Norse turns very nicely into Ribera's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Norse.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Norse missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Norse avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Norse rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ribera counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ribera rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Norse moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ribera thows a left - swing and a miss! Ribera looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Norse lands with a right hand. Norse slips a jab and a cross from Ribera.
Ribera stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Norse. Ribera scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Ribera scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Ribera wants to control but Norse is keeping him busy. Ribera has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ribera working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Norse gets back to half guard. Ribera is working for a kimura but Norse is defending it quite comfortably.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Norse is refusing to be controlled, as Ribera sits in half guard. Ribera thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Norse's head. Ribera controlling the action here. Ribera is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Norse is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
