Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Agung Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Lauzon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Agung Kang could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Joe Lauzon's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Agung Kang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Lauzon! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lauzon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kang counters with a nice double leg into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Lauzon is trying to get back to full guard. Kang stands up out of the half guard. Kang dodges the punch combination from Lauzon.
Lauzon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kang counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lauzon thinking. Lauzon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kang counters with a shoot takedown. Lauzon fights it but they end up in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Kang decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Lauzon throws a leg kick but Kang sees it coming and checks it nicely. Lauzon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lauzon throws a combination that misses and Kang counters with a straight right hand. Lauzon throws a lazy uppercut
and Kang counters with a nice double leg into guard. Kang gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Lauzon misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lauzon throws a low kick, looking for Kang's leg but Kang calmly moves out of range. Lauzon throws a lazy head kick and Kang counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Lauzon misses the shot to the body. Lauzon looks winded! Lauzon pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Kang counters with a two punch combo. Lauzon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kang was well out of range. Poor timing from Lauzon. Lauzon swings away with a body shot that misses
so Kang counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kang got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lauzon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kang has managed to get both his arms back between Lauzon's legs - danger averted. Kang stands up from Lauzon's guard - Kang perhaps looking for a knockout. Kang feints and as Lauzon raises his hands in defense, Kang changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kang decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Lauzon misses with a body kick. Kang shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lauzon is trying to defend but Kang finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kang decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Kang moves into the clinch. Lauzon is trying to break the clinch but Kang is controlling him. Lauzon is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Lauzon working hard to break the clinch. Lauzon is trying to force a seperation but Kang has the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lauzon wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kang has him pressed against the cage. Lauzon is trying to break free. Kang gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Lauzon throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kang uses it to pass to side control.
Kang decides to stand back up. Lauzon throws a poor cross that misses
and Kang counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lauzon's guard now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kang decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lauzon, up you get! Kang closes the distance and clinches. Kang has clasped his hands together around Lauzon's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Kang decides to stand back up. Kang moves into the clinch. Lauzon is trying to break the clinch but Kang is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kang has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lauzon clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Kang gets back to his feet - a bit of a stange decision given the position he was in. Lauzon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kang counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lauzon's guard now. Kang stands up from guard. Let's bang! Kang rushes Lauzon and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kang has Lauzon pressed against the cage, preventing Lauzon from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Kang comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Kang gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Kang stands up and waves to Lauzon to follow him. Joe Lauzon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lauzon misses with a combination
and Kang counters with a nice double leg into guard. Kang decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lauzon, up you get! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Agung Kang dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kang decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kang postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Lauzon to stand up. Joe Lauzon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kang keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Lauzon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Joe Lauzon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kang bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kang decides to stand back up. Kang steps back and let's Lauzon get back to his feet. Lauzon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kang manages to avoid it. Kang avoids the body shot from Lauzon.

and Kang counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lauzon is breathing heavily. Kang gets to his feet - Lauzon follows without any prompting.

and Kang counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kang decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Lauzon throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kang. Kang has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kang's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lauzon looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. The referee is keeping an eye on Kang - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Lauzon tries to circle away but Kang has him pinned against the cage. Lauzon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kang has picked Lauzon up - he's going for a ride! Kang dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Lauzon manages to get to full guard.
Agung Kang overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lauzon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Lauzon is looking to break free of the clinch but Kang has double underhooks. Lauzon is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kang is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lauzon to the mat. Lauzon regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Kang stands up from guard. Let's bang! Lauzon falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lauzon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Kang counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lauzon's guard now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kang gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Lauzon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

Lauzon is trying to push Kang away but Kang has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Lauzon tries to break free but Kang pushes him back against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lauzon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kang blocks a head kick by Lauzon.
Kang is looking to wear down Lauzon with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Lauzon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kang finds it's way round the side to connect with Lauzon's head. Kang is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lauzon's half guard. Kang gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Kang tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lauzon looks to land a body kick but Kang moved away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lauzon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kang circles away quickly and effectively. Kang changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lauzon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kang prevents Lauzon from escaping the position. Lauzon is looking for a sweep. Kang decides to stand back up. Kang steps back and let's Lauzon get back to his feet. Lauzon misses with a combination
and Kang counters by moving into the clinch. Joe Lauzon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lauzon tries to work over Kang's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kang is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lauzon can't fight it off and eventually Kang manages to take the fight to the floor. Lauzon looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lauzon throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
