Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Blackhill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ric Flair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James Blackhill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ric Flair! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flair tries to clinch up but Blackhill circles away and keeps his distance. Blackhill moves out of range of the leg kick from Flair. Flair slips a straight right by Blackhill. Blackhill throws a shot from downtown. Flair moves away and avoids it. Blackhill looks to land a combination. Flair sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A bone on bone clash there as Blackhill blocks the leg kick.
Blackhill thows a left - swing and a miss! Blackhill scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Flair is not content to let Blackhill control the position. Flair regains half guard. Blackhill is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Flair reverses the position - he's now on top in Blackhill's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Blackhill manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Flair manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blackhill trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Blackhill works a leg free and moves into half guard. Blackhill thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Blackhill is stalling here. Flair is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Blackhill seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Flair has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Flair wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blackhill keeps working. Blackhill is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Blackhill is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Blackhill has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Still in half guard, Flair seems content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ric Flair has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Blackhill swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Flair avoids the body shot from Blackhill.
Blackhill checks a leg kick. Flair pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Blackhill crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Flair - the referee stops the clock and Blackhill gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Flair. Blackhill manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. This has been an exciting period of action! Good standup being displayed there by Blackhill as he connects with a hook. Flair uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Blackhill. Flair throws a low kick but Blackhill moves out of range easily. Flair goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Blackhill shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Flair as he avoids it easily. Blackhill looks to land a right hand but Flair moved out of range. A solid body kick from Flair.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blackhill throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Blackhill misses with a wild body shot. Flair tries a head kick but it misses.
Flair defending well as Blackhill loads up on a big left hand. Flair lets loose with a powerful body kick. Blackhill will feel that in the morning. Blackhill closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Flair did well to prevent Blackhill getting side control. Flair keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Blackhill looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Flair with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Blackhill throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Flair controlling the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Flair is trying to maintain the position but Blackhill is very close to passing his half guard. Flair is looking for a sweep. Blackhill is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Flair wants to control but Blackhill is keeping busy.
Blackhill is trying to control the action in half guard but Flair is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Blackhill seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That was a close round but I would say that James Blackhill will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A bone on bone clash there as Blackhill blocks the leg kick.
Flair scores with a spinning back kick! Ric Flair seems to be getting the better of the standup. Blackhill throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Flair's waist but Flair gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blackhill off to one side. Blackhill chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Flair can pounce on him.
A decent looking cross lands there for Flair. Blackhill dives in and grabs Flair's left leg, looking for a takedown. Flair pushes down on Blackhill's head and hops out. Blackhill throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Flair turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Ric Flair is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Blackhill on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Flair lands with a kick to the temple. Blackhill shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Flair fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Flair scoring well with a low kick there.
Oooooh!!! Flair has knocked Blackhill down with a huge combo! Flair steps away and waves a wobbly Blackhill back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Blackhill is rocked! Flair seems to be stalking Blackhill here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Blackhill drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ric Flair! Post fight, Ric Flair took to the microphone: 'MARIO, my shoes are worth more than your HOUSE... get to the back of the line kid... BIGFOOT, can you beat the man?! I don't think so....'.
