Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milo Talon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Brian Sackett has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Brian Sackett seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brian Sackett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Milo Talon! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sackett pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Talon misses with a knee to the head. Sackett tries to work over Talon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Talon lands an elbow just above Sackett 's eye. Talon tries to land a knee to the head but Sackett blocks with his arms.

Sackett blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Talon blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Sackett avoids a wild elbow strike from Talon. Talon blocks an elbow strike. Sackett lands a hook to the side of the head. Talon using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sackett has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Talon looks winded! This has been an exciting period of action! Talon takes a knee to the side of the body. Sackett lands an elbow that stopped Talon in his tracks for a moment. Sackett digs a right hand underneath Talon's ribcage. Talon let out a lung full of air as it connected. A nice glancing elbow lands by Sackett.
It looks like Milo Talon has been cut. Sackett misses with a body punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sackett creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Sackett lands a shot to the body. Sackett lands with a left to the head. Sackett pulls guard effortlessly. Talon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sackett is pulling down on Talon's head to control his posture. Sackett bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Talon's guard. Sackett throws a big elbow that misses. Sackett advances position into side control! Talon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sackett. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Talon is not content to let Sackett control the position. Sackett has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sackett tries to score with some ground and pound. Talon controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Sackett is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Talon will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Sackett scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Talon to see if he's OK. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Talon can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Talon tries to buck Sackett off but Sackett is having none of it. Sackett is working Talon over with some ground and pound from side control. Talon is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Talon blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sackett. Sackett looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Sackett seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Talon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Sackett missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ground and pound from Sackett.
That has opened up Milo Talon's cut even more. Sackett not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sackett slips a nice elbow through Talon's hands, connecting with Talon's forehead.
The cut above Milo Talon's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Sackett scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sackett sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Talon defending well though. Sackett is looking to take a break and control but Talon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sackett working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Talon is not content to let Sackett control the position. Nice strikes from Sackett there.
Milo Talon's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Milo Talon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Brian Sackett! In his post fight interview, Brian Sackett started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
