Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Asher Asher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Hardon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardon has chosen Ameno as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Big Hardon!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asher tries to land a front kick but Hardon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hardon goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hardon smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Hardon blocks a low kick nicely.

Hardon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Asher lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hardon's sensitive parts.
Hardon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Asher circles away quickly and effectively.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Hardon sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Asher is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Hardon is looking to take a break and control but Asher is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hardon is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Asher's shoulder. That is not cool.

Hardon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Asher knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Hardon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Asher keeps working.

Asher wants to control but Hardon is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hardon with a flurry of punches that miss.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hardon has gone for a leg lock! Asher slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hardon's guard.

Hardon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Asher's hands.
Asher drops his hands momentarily and Hardon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Asher throws an overhand right that lands on Hardon's shoulder, as Hardon tries to avoid the shot.

Asher gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Hardon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hardon jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Asher explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Asher stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Asher wants it to stay on the feet.
Hardon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Asher tries to avoid it but Hardon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Asher to the ground. Asher escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A slapping body kick lands there for Asher.
Hardon is breathing heavily.

Hardon throws a shot from downtown. Asher moves away and avoids it.
Hardon throws a lazy right hand but Asher sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hardon shoots in but no luck this time.

Asher throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Hardon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Asher moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Asher throws a leg kick which misses Hardon's front leg but catches the back leg as Hardon tries to avoid it.

Asher tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hardon's elbow.
Asher gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hardon.

Asher lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Hardon's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

A head punch on the inside from Asher fails to land.
Hardon using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Asher has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Asher's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

The fighters circle momentarily. Hardon darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hardon tries to clinch up but Asher circles away and keeps his distance.
Hardon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Asher.

Hardon shoots in looking for a takedown. Asher tries to sprawl out of it but Hardon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Asher manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Asher pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hardon sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Asher fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hardon has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
