Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lay Pray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pray comes into the arena with Don't Fear the Reaper- Blue Oyster Cult blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hector Lombard!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pray lands a left and a right that send Lombard crashing to the mat, dazed. Pray thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Hector Lombard has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pray shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lombard sprawls well. Lombard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pray gets slowly back to his feet.
Pray shoots for a takedown but Lombard saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lombard throws a low kick but Pray moves out of range easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Lombard pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Pray back to the cage. Lombard follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Pray shoots for a takedown but Lombard saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lay Pray. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pray shoots in for a takedown but Lombard shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Lombard stuffs the takedown attempt from Pray. Pray gets slowly back to his feet.
Lombard throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Pray is breathing heavily.
Lombard lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Pray on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lombard throws a right and a left that Pray avoids nicely.
Lombard Throws a clean left jab. Lombard Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Pray's chin! Pray crumbles to the ground and Lombard follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Lombard!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Hector Lombard!
Hector Lombard spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
