The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagraves connects with a crisp jab.
Sagraves fails to land with a series of punches.
Sagraves scores with a hook to the body. Shannon takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Shannon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sagraves finds it's way round the side to connect with Shannon's head.
Sagraves keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sagraves misses with a double jab.
Shannon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sagraves throws a hook but Shannon blocks it.
Sagraves misses with a few strikes there.
Shannon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sagraves's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Shannon is in close to Sagraves's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Shannon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sagraves has his feet on Shannon's thighs here. He's pushed Shannon off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Shannon screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
