Liebning kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Perceptionists - Let's move . Chris Liebning could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Zombo Axe's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Liebning!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zombo Axe!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liebning gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Axe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Liebning shoots and misses
enabling Axe to counter with a crisp jab.
Liebning misses with a takedown
and Axe counters with a left to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Liebning. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Axe gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Liebning takes a shot to the head.
Axe displaying some good clinch control by pressing Liebning up against the cage.
Liebning is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Axe gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Axe working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Liebning drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Liebning is breathing heavily.
Liebning tries for a takedown. No joy.

Axe putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Liebning in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Axe lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Liebning backwards.
Axe throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Liebnings head.
Axe lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Axe is struggling to control the position.
Axe drops Liebning onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Liebning is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Liebning is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Axe lands a shoulder strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Axe creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Liebning with a big uppercut! Liebning tries to clinch up but Axe pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Liebning to the mat! Liebning covers up and Axe unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Zombo Axe!
