Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Takeru Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lasse Willemoes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kyle might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Like to Move It. Willemoes has chosen Who Let the Dogs out??- Baha men as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willemoes misses with a right hand
and Kyle counters with a straight right hand.
Willemoes shoots in and bounces Kyle off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Willemoes's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Willemoes won't allow Kyle to sweep him here.
Willemoes working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Willemoes stands up over Kyle, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Willemoes tries to free his leg and advance position but Kyle is retaining full guard.

and Kyle makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Kyle displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Willemoes throws out the jab.

Willemoes misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Willemoes takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Kyle lands a nice hook to Willemoes's body. Willemoes takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Willemoes on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kyle just misses with a punch to the body.
Kyle is looking to wear down Willemoes with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Willemoes has closed the distance and engaged Kyle in a clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Kyle dips a shoulder and cracks Willemoes with a mighty uppercut! Willemoes falls back against the cage and Kyle unloads with a barrage of strikes! Willemoes is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Kyle screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Takeru Kyle!
Takeru Kyle retains his middleweight title!
A less than humble Takeru Kyle misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
