Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Busuioc Dragos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Axe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axe bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Dragos throws a nice looking combination but Axe bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dragos throws a sloppy head kick and Axe moves out of range easily.

Axe closes the distance and clinches.
Axe misses with a knee strike.
Stalling in the clinch from Axe.
Axe misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dragos.

Axe is looking to control Dragos's arms but Dragos gets an underhook and turns him. Now Axe has his back to the cage.

Dragos tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Axe's elbow.
Axe digs a right hand into Dragos's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Dragos's gas tank.

Axe lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Dragos backwards.
Dragos has had enough of the clinch but Axe keeps him there for the moment.

Dragos is trying to pull guard but Axe turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Axe throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dragos blocks it with crossed arms.

Dragos has picked Axe up - he's going for a ride! Dragos dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Dragos is keen to just control but Axe is a slippery customer.

Dragos gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Dragos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Axe swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dragos looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Axe is looking for a triangle but Dragos pushes his legs off easily.

Axe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dragos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyson Axe dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Axe moves out of range of the body kick.
Dragos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Axe as he jumps to the side.
Axe throws the kick towards the body but Dragos avoids it.
Axe scores with a one two! Dragos had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Dragos chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Axe can pounce on him.
Axe misses with a two punch combination.
Axe throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Dragos jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Dragos misses with a takedown attempt - Axe sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Dragos looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Axe is trying to stand back up but Dragos is controlling him
Axe is breathing heavily.

Axe looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Axe won't allow Dragos to pass to mount.

Axe looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Dragos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Axe on the ground.
Dragos trying to control from half guard but Axe is working away.

Dragos with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Dragos stops Axe from getting back to his feet.
Axe makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Axe.

Axe is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dragos has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Axe to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Dragos is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Axe pulls down on the head and he's put Dragos to sleep! This one is all over!
