The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Anderson as Suarez shoots in.
Anderson throws a right hand that misses
and Suarez counters with a straight right hand.
Suarez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Anderson defends it nicely.
Anderson drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Suarez looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Anderson wants to stand and escape but instead Suarez has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Anderson is looking to stand back up but Suarez counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Anderson.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anderson pushes Suarez off looking to stand but Suarez dives back in and keeps control.

Anderson is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Suarez is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Suarez is working for a submission of some sort.
Anderson is refusing to be controlled, as Suarez sits in half guard.

Anderson is trying to get back to full guard.
Suarez wants to take a breather but Anderson is having none of it.
Suarez missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Anderson pushes Suarez off but Suarez dives into side control.
Suarez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Anderson keeps working.
Suarez wants to stand but Anderson has his arm trapped.

Suarez sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Anderson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Suarez trying to control the position but Anderson is working away.
Anderson has one of Suarez's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Suarez has control of an arm but Anderson manages to advance to Suarez's back!
The referee is taking a good look at Suarez as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Anderson!
Suarez grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Suarez covers up after that shot from Anderson.
Suarez is breathing heavily.
Suarez trying to control the position but Anderson manages to sink in the hooks.
Anderson throwing damaging strikes from the back! Suarez could be in trouble here!
Anderson lands strikes from the back and Suarez isn't doing enough to escape the position. The referee steps in to end the fight.
