Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yakimenko tries to clinch there but Grabapple circles away.

and Grabapple moves into the clinch.
Yakimenko goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Yakimenko is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Grabapple is defending well for now.
Yakimenko stalling in the clinch but Grabapple improves position.
Grabapple ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Grabapple no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yakimenko wants to stand and escape but instead Grabapple has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Yakimenko is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Yakimenko kicks Grabapple off and gets to his feet.
Vitaliy Yakimenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yakimenko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Grabapple paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Grabapple counters with a left and a right that stings Yakimenko.
That's one minute gone in the round.
