Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zander McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiro Nohara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuire comes into the arena with Crazy Train blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

McGuire scores with a spinning back kick!

McGuire leaves Nohara with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and McGuire cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Hiro Nohara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and McGuire makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

McGuire lands a big head kick that sends Nohara tumbling to the mat! McGuire takes a step backwards and waves Nohara back to his feet - he wants the finish!

McGuire dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nohara. That did some damage!
McGuire throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
McGuire scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Nohara is rocked!
McGuire lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Nohara is still on wobbly legs! Can McGuire finish him?
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and McGuire counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
McGuire lands a jab to Nohara's midsection.
McGuire connects with a leg kick. Nohara looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
McGuire comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
McGuire cracks Nohara with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Nohara tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but McGuire pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Nohara is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zander McGuire!
During a confident post fight interview, Zander McGuire thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
