Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Renato Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank DaTank!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots for a takedown but DaTank saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
DaTank takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Frank DaTank has been cut.
Silva leaves DaTank with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
DaTank walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Silva checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Renato Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Silva feints with a jab and clips DaTank right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! DaTank is sent crashing into the canvas and Silva leaps in for the kill! DaTank tries to get to his feet but Silva is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that DaTank is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Renato Silva!
Renato Silva decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
